JULY 13, 2010…It’s a great summer for Holiday Inn Grand Haven Spring Lake as Stefanie Herder, Director of Sales and hotel event coordinator, announced special events for the remainder of July for hotel guests as well as local residents.
SATURDAY, JULY 24, 2010, FROM 9 A.M. TO 11 A.M.
ALL YOU CAN EAT “ICE CREAM FOR BREAKFAST” SOCIAL
Here’s a delicious way to start the day and help one of America’s favorite charities, GIVE KIDS THE WORLD (GKTW). A bountiful ice cream buffet with all the toppings including cereal will be available this morning, courtesy of Holiday Inn, Dairy Treat, Meijer, Culvers of Grand Haven. Attendees are simply asked to make a donation at the door, 100% of which is designated for GKTW, a 70-acre, nonprofit resort in Central Florida that creates magical memories for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. GKTW provides accommodations at its whimsical resort, donated attractions tickets, meals and more for a weeklong, cost-free fantasy vacation. With the help of many generous individuals, including Holiday Inn’s corporate hotel group and partnering with wish-granting organizations. GKTW has welcomed more than 101,000 families from all 50 states and 72 countries.

JACK’S 80S BEACH PARTY AT JACK’S TIKI BAR AND LOUNGE
Back by popular demand! Attendees are asked to dress in their 80s summer best to rock out to favorite 80s music at Jack’s Tiki Bar. A DJ will be playing from 8-11 p.m. on the patio, and Hat Trick will entertain with live 80s music from 9 p.m. to close inside the lounge. There will be cash prizes for best 80s outfits, an 80s big hair contest and 80s dance off.

JACK’S COUNTRY HOOTENANNY ON THE GREAT LAWN
Dress in country best and come on down for Jack’s very first hootenanny featuring live music from Stolen Horses. Guests can try their rodeo skills on the mechanical bull and earn prizes for the best country outfits, yeehaw yelling contest, lasso tossing and more.
